For oil wells located in remote oil regions, it is difficult for the power grid to cover them, so diesel engines are required to provide power for the oil pumps. The use of diesel engines for driving has problems such as high production costs, high labor intensity for workers, and poor safety and stability. Using a photovoltaic and energy storage system to power the oil pumps can reduce production costs and achieve a green, low-carbon, and sustainable development of the oil fields.

Through the EMS (Energy Management System) within the system, complementary input from the photovoltaic system and the diesel generator is achieved, ensuring the stable and reliable operation of the oil field pumping units under the condition of no access to the municipal power supply.
